AFP-Ottawa presents "Fixed Income Strategy : The Impact of Rising Interest Rates and Quantitative Tightening on Financial Markets "
Please join us on November 17th, 2022 at the Rideau Club for a luncheon and highly topical keynote presentation by our special guest speaker from National Bank Financial: Taylor Schleich, Director, Economics and Strategy. Taylor will discussing the outlook for interest rates, inflation and the macroeconomy, including the implications for households, businesses, governments and fixed income markets. He will review the Quantitative Easing undertaken during the pandemic and the subsequent Quantitative Tightening now underway at the Bank of Canada and abroad.

Taylor Schleich is a Director with National Bank Financial, serving as a rates strategist within the firm’s highly regarded Economics and Strategy group. While focused on interest rate strategy and central bank policy, Taylor is also actively involved in developing NBF’s macroeconomic outlook. Taylor provides investors and issuers in Canada and globally with detailed analysis of economic, fiscal and monetary policy developments. Taylor holds a masters degree in Economics from the University of Victoria.
