Canada Post Presentations and Annual General Meeting

You are cordially invited to AFPC- Ottawa’s final meeting of the year.  As part of our commitment to bring you exciting new learning and networking experiences, come join us on June 5^th 2013 at Canada Post Place, 2701 Riverside Dr. Ottawa Ontario

This event will include:

• a visit to the Canada Post National Control Center where you’ll hear how Canada Post moves, processes and delivers 46 million pieces of mail per day across the country;
• a presentation by Canada Post’s Chief Financial Officer, Wayne Cheeseman on how the Corporation is navigating through the complexities of financing a major infrastructure transformation while undergoing and dealing with high fixed costs; and,
• the AFPC-Ottawa Annual General Meeting (AGM), (Only members of AFPC-Ottawa are eligible to vote at the meeting.)  Please follow the link to the official Notice of the AGM. 

Given the security measures in place at Canada Post Place, your arrival at the front security should be between 4:45 and 5:00PM. Further instructions will be provided prior to the day of the event.

The National Control Center presentation begins at 5:15 p.m, Mr. Cheeseman’s presentation will take place at 5:45 p.m. and the AGM at 6:15 p.m.  Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served following the AGM.
