Have you ever had a really good meal and wondered why you enjoyed it as much as you did? The answer might just be the combination of food and wine that is paired properly to make it far more memorable. This is not a tough thing to do if you understand the basic fundamentals of food and wine pairing.
Good news! When matching food and wine, you don’t have to learn complicated systems for selecting the right wine to enhance the food on the table. It’s really not that hard. A few simple guidelines will help you make successful wine-and-food pairings. Bill Ellis, President of the National Capital Sommelier Guild will guide us through a tutorial on the basic rules around selecting the right wines to make your meal exceptional.
