Preparing for the (L)IBOR Transition
How do you replace the world’s most referenced rates? That is literally the $400 trillion question. Please join us for a conversation to learn more about interbank offered rate (IBOR) reform, including LIBOR and the various considerations for the transition away from LIBOR and other IBORs to alternative reference rates (RFRs).

Rachel Megitt, Managing Director and Head, Business Transformation Canada, RBC Capital Markets
Rachel Megitt is Managing Director and Head, Business Transformation Canada within RBC Capital Markets’ Strategy and Transformation Group, leading regional and global strategic initiatives with broad enterprise implications, including the IBOR Benchmark Reform Program. Rachel joined RBC Capital Markets in 2011 after spending more than five years across human capital strategy, healthcare strategy and management consulting.
Rachel holds a Joint Honours degree in Economics and Political Science from McGill University (where she served as President of the Arts Undergraduate Society), a Masters of Arts degree in Business Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. In 2010, Rachel was named the first female president of the Graduate Business Council at the Rotman School of Management.
Rachel’s commitment to her community has been recognized through several awards, including: the Gordon Cressy Award, the Rotman Citizenship Award, WCM’s Rising Star Award, and the University of Toronto’s Arbor Award.
Rachel previously represented RBC Capital Markets as a Director on the Rotman Financial Services Advisory Board and served as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Dean of the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. Currently, Rachel serves as a Director on the University of Toronto Alumni Association Board and the Rotman School of Management’s Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee (REDI).
